We invited Resident Advisor down for an exclusive look at our first major refurb since 1999.
Speaking with director Cameron Leslie and designer Giorgio Badalacchi, they discuss everything from the changes in the small details, to the redesign of main rooms. The foyer, Room 1, Room 3, and the VIP Mezzanine are all updated, with new chain-swing seats in the Sunken Bar.
The main update is in Room 2; fitted with a new concrete, almost Brutalist style, DJ booth, centralised at floor level, and complete with a new sound system and lighting. In this new space, symmetry drives the music front and centre.
