For the launch of Independent Venue Week 2019, Our Founder and Director Dominique Frazer was asked to say a few words about the work indie venues do.
So in true Boileroom style Dom wrote a poem celebrating the work we all do day in day out and how vital GMVs are to both community and culture.
The poem highlights the blood, sweat and tears (of joy) that go into running these venues. We are proud to stand alongside our brothers and sisters this week in celebrating our Independence!
This is our call to arms to all music lovers across the country, get out there and support your venues, get to know your community and have an amazing time while you do it!
