A new decade, a new club from Essex 🎉
Hello Sugarhut family! Here's hoping you have had a wonderful start to the year and in fact, a whole new decade 🙂
It's an important time for us here at the venue. We had a great opening period with lots of totally sold out parties and some incredible moments already on our dance floors.
But as with any new venture, it has also been a learning curve for us in the first few months and a chance to listen to you guys and take your lead on how to improve the experience even further.
So, with 3 weeks to go until the 2020 opening party, it's time to run through some important announcements and news from the club.
▶︎ Opening Line-up
We are starting with a serious bang and have put together a line up the likes of which is rarely seen in Essex. We will be joined by Garage legends DJ Luck and MC Neat as well as the incredible Artful Dodger who smashed it here back in December. Mistajam and Majestic are also on board as well as Love Juice resident Sammy Porter. This will be one to remember!
▶︎ Over 21
As you most likely will have seen from the event pages and ticket outlets, Sugar Hut is now an over 21 club. Don't despair however, if you are lucky enough to be younger than that, you can still join us BUT will need to become an approved member of the venue.
If you are under 21 and want to continue to come to the venue, you will need to message us directly on either Facebook or Instagram. If you are approved then we will add you to the club's guest list. The good news is that you only need to do this once and you will be approved to buy tickets from then on, for any of our events.
▶︎ Table Prices
After listening to your feedback we will be lowering the prices for tables to make them more affordable if you have something to celebrate or just feel like the VIP treatment.

▶︎ Reducing Queue Times
It's amazing that Sugar Hut has been so popular since the opening and of course when lots of people want to come in there will inevitably be some queuing... however, we want to reduce this as much as possible and so we will be implementing a number of measures on our most popular nights such as more scanners, more 'entry before 10pm' tickets to stagger the arrival of people and also opening earlier to enable those of you that want to come for your pre drinks with us to sail straight in.

We have LOADS in store for you in 2020 including Hotbed, Sankeys, Cafe Mambo, Zoo Project and lots more as well as the launch of 'Sugar Free' our Friday night series and also some fun new concepts for 'activity' Thursdays… things that have never happened in Essex before
