2019 was by far our biggest and busiest year as a live music venue.
Booking even more bands and artists than the previous years. More international bands and more UK bands as well a rebooking previously performed bands and artists back at the venue.
Our live shows extended from our usual Friday and Saturday nights throughout the year. To now featuring the occasional midweek and Sunday events.
It's the first year we have hosted events that have covered each day of the week within the year with at least 1 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday event featured in our calendar and a number of Thursday and Sunday shows on top of our regular Friday and Saturday events.
With some of these midweek and Sunday shows being our most memorable.
We were lucky enough to attract some big names this year including singer/songwriter Arielle from Austin, Texas who was mentored by Brian May of Queen.
Rock & Roll band Vigil Of War from Los Angeles, California. Featuring former Good Charlotte drummer Chris Wilson and bassist/singer Alicia Vigil, who in 2020 was recruited by Dragonforce.
We Are The Catalyst from Sweden.
Darkcell from Australia.
KROW and EBB who feature members from one of the most controversial bands of all time, the famous Rockbitch!
Tensheds who performed at Glastonbury Festival 2019.
Turbulent Hearts from Los Angeles, California. Featuring founding member Suzi Moon formerly of the US punk rock band Civet with her sister Liza Graves, who were signed to Rancid's Tim Armstrong 's record label Hellcat Records and performed at Reading & Leeds Festival in 2010.
JOANovARC who've exploded onto the international music scene and were the first British female band to feature on the hit Xbox game 'ROCKBAND'.
Doctor Victor from Prague, Czech Republic who were hand picked by AC/DC to be main support for their Prague show.
The Loose Cut who performed at Reading and Leeds Festival 2019.
and SynlakrosS from Spain.
But one of the most memorable moments of the year came for us from two laid back guys from Santa Cruz, California, US called Cement Ship, performing some excellent 'Beach Folk' for us.
It was held on a Tuesday night and they performed a Percy's record-breaking 3 hours and 35 minutes non stop set consisting completely of their own original music.
It was absolutely breathtaking and such a special night that everyone enjoyed!
